Can I apply for more than one programme focus?
As each focus has different eligibility criteria and target companies, please make sure to apply to the programme focus that is most relevant to your company.
Are companies at any maturity stage suited to the programme?
The Acceleration Programme is open for growth stage start-ups and SMEs with a focus on either ClimateTech or Homegrown Brands that inspire to be part of Majid Al Futtaim’s ecosystem and want to acquire growth opportunities, customer acquisition, and improve their operational efficiencies. They should have a solution or product that is already in the market, has been tested, and has potential to scale regionally and beyond.
My business is based outside the UAE, is it still eligible?
For ClimateTech brands, the company can be based anywhere in the world, but startups with GCC presence and experience are preferred. Homegrown Brands applicant companies should be registered within the MENA region.
Will the information in my application be treated as confidential?
All information submitted through the application form will be treated for the sole purpose of the Programme and will not be shared with any third party without the consent and approval of the submitter. Majid Al Futtaim Launchpad Programme does not claim any proprietary rights over the brands and/or technologies that are submitted to the Programme. All information and technologies are the sole property of the submitters.
What happens after I apply?
Following the application deadline, we will be reviewing all submissions internally based on the criteria mentioned. We might get in touch for any additional information (if applicable). If you are shortlisted, you will be informed via email.
What happens if I get shortlisted?
Shortlisted companies will be invited to preparatory sessions that will provide you with information about integrating to Majid Al Futtaim’s ecosystem, and will also prepare you for the final pitch event.
What do I receive if I get integrated into Majid Al Futtaim?
The programme will provide SMEs and start-ups with a gateway to tangible growth opportunities by subsidising the rent cost and fast-tracking the process to integrate into Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem. Integration benefits include access to new revenue streams, and opportunities to increase operational efficiencies and gain unrivalled market knowledge.
